This is what you need start for the first year. 1st brood chamber box is used so bees can build out all 10 frames before you place 2nd brood box on top. Complete hive comes with bottom bd, entrance reducer, 2 deep brood chamber, 20 deep wooden frames, 20 deep wax foundation, 1 medium honey super, 9 medium wooden frames, 9 medium wax foundation, inner cover, outer cover or lid. You can choose between different bottom bds, solid bottom bd or screen bottom bd. If you would like a feeder or not. Two different kinds of feeders are offered a frame feeder or a top hive feeder, what ever is your presence. Choose what kind of bees, 3lb package or 5 Fr nuc. Mini Intro bee class is also included. A wooden hive stand is recommended. All beehive should be lifted off ground at-least 8". We make to different styles, hivestand and hive stand with sideboards both made of wood. Keeping the hive at least 8" elevated off the ground helps prevent moisture, deter insects and rodents.
