Hive inspection will be hands on Class. Each student will be able to conduct their own inspection of hive located at Beehive Barn Beeyard. Items we will cover in class:
- General appearance of Hive
- Pests (Sugar Shake)
- Reproduction
- Capacity
- Honey storage
- Bee Population
- Hive construction
- Each student will receive Handout ck list for inspecting hive, Sugar Shake jar and directions, and an uncapping fork.
